What great detail, well done, and yes I am back after having to get a new computer as the mother board on the old one crashed

Thank you very much Clifford, always appreciated. Glad to see you're back in action again, too.

Terrific close-up Heather. Love the vivid colours and composition. So nice to see how the flower helps to provide food to the bee even though he was challenged by the wind. Nice shooting.

Thank you Debra, always appreciated. I's getting more challenging for them now that a lot of the plants they rely on are past the blooming stage. Luckily there are still some wild asters and veronica plus a few roses for them here but they never seem to come around when I have my camera handy.

Thank you Yves, much appreciated. The wind was so gusty this little guy had trouble hanging on and getting a proper focus was a little tricky but it worked out okay in the end.

Wow! I love the joyfull coulours of that shot. Good framing and the very sharp focus shows lots of interesting details. Very well done Heather.

Description
The Brown-eyed Susans are in full bloom and in spite of the winds this bee was determined to collect some nectar and so was I to get a shot of two of my favorite subjects.
